Knock knock who's there? Orange who? Orange you glad it's me...

My friend sent me some Orange scrap candy for a Pak that I won and that's what started this whole page...I swear I could smell Oranges as I was creating this layout or was it Tang!?
I am pleased with how this page turned out. I really like the busy areas and the clean areas where your eyes can rest a moment or two...This picture means alot to me it is one my son took when he was three years old and I love the angle heck I don't even look half bad in it...The true colour of this layout is in the last picture. I think my flash went off in the others ...pardon my lack of photography...
I used chipboard that I painted, the skull candy is from my friend Cindy, the bright Orange bling is from my friend Em and the 3 large paper flowers are from Em also, the felt flower cut in half is from my friend Tammy. Thank you ladies for being so kind and feeding my habit.
The rest of the goodies I had on hand except for the bling around the picture. I bought that today on a quick trip to the LSS. The felt hearts and really fuzzy felt flower above the skull were from my trip to Montreal.
It is hard to see by these photo's unless you enlarge it...but the title is What is remarkable to you..it is a bit hidden but I wanted to be that way...much easier to see in real life..
Well there you have Orange you glad you stopped by!

Monkey around...

okay so I got my Sugar Nellie stamps today from the UK...okay V you got me hooked for sure...Here is my first attempt with one and I must say this is probably one of the best stamps I have bought in awhile...I love monkeys, sock monkeys, and skulls well what more I could ask for in a stamp than this...So here are my monkey cards and I'm soo excited to make more...

I use H2O's to colour them and embossed the images for ease of painting...So which ones your favourite?...thanks for visiting...I stayed up past my bed time to finish these and left my room in a mess because I need to go to bed..Yikes...

the library...

yes the wonderful library! Steven and I go every two weeks in summer its our hangout time and excuse for a walk. He loves choosing new books and then using the computer himself to sign them out. He is such a big boy! in these photos he was a little boy..lol....this one of our first few visits.
The pictures are not the best I'm still trying to figure out my camera it seems to take great pics outside and less than great inside..hmmm

I used my Cricut expression for the diecuts. What a machine I have a lot more to learn oh boy do I! I added alot of my own personal detail to the diecuts I made using the my community cartridge.
Thanks for stopping by and having look.

Journaling blocks..

yep that's what I have been doing stamping journal blocks for a swap. We were to make 45 total. That's 3 per person but I couldn't resist giving them almost all of my favourite journaling blocks. V recognize the owl one its my super favourite. The long one on the right, the flower one, and the one on the top left are all unity. The bottom left I got at scrapfest and I have no idea what company...thanks for coming by...

Playschool Days...

ahh those were the days...and still are for my son. This is my double page layout of his first day. What a bittersweet day that was for me. I really wanted these pages to say playschool and the foam numbers, letters, and hands helped achieve just that. I stamped the background cardstock with blue chalk ink. I used Stampin up for the pencil and scissors and abc's. Unity stamps for the wonderful numbers. I have used this stamp alot since I bought it. The embellishments are mainly from dollarama... Thanks for coming over.
