The Salad days...

Yep its time for another recipe swap and this swap is for Salads....Crispy, colourful, crunchy, fresh, good for your soul salads....I love nothing better than a hearty salad that you can eat as a meal on hot summer day. This recipe is one of those salads...of course they make a lovely side too but on those hot lazy days who wants to cook...make a hearty salad the night before and the living is easy when supper time comes around.
I used CTMH cardstock and some new paper from Costco (circles) the vegetable paper is unknown but I do not I got it cheap at a scrap store...yep that's real long grain jasmine rice on there with orange sparkles and I used stickles on the top row of veggies. The orange ribbon is care of Walmart. I also used a little MM clear glaze over the salad bowl image. I pop dotted the circles on the ribbon and the Zucchini at the bottom....now don't you want some salad...

Summer days , driften away...

Yep that is what this layout reminds of. I needed to make this page today. After doing data entry all day my creative little brain was about ready to burst...seriously well not seriously but I was itching to get some thing creative done as soon as possible. My son loved imitating Vithecat every chance he got when he was small and luckily enough I was able to capture some of these precious moments on film.
I used CTMH cardstock and the cloud paper is unknown. The patterned papers are a mixture of Stampin up and Basic grey. Buttons, Bunnies, flowers and wooden letters are dollarama. I used the scalloped circle punch from Stampin up. The owl stamp is hero arts and I used puff embossing powder on him. The felt pieces are inque boutique and the felt stars and swirl border I just can't remember the name of the company its late and I need to go to bed and make lunch. So good night and ooooh ah those summer nights....I'm still singing...hee hee hee..

Did I see a puddy Tat?...

Yep I did see a puddy tat...okay so this is not so scrappy but have you ever seen anything so Terrific for your kitchen, pancakes will never be the same...abadee abadee aba... that's all folks...

T & T...

Well since I did a layout of Suzanne and I at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival.I decided I would like to do this great picture of Tammy and I at the same event....T & T acting silly...and you sure can tell whose T stands for Troublemaker...lol...I am so glad that over the years Tammy and I have been able to hang out together as friends and not coworkers..Tammy you are trouble with a capital T and thats for sure...no matter how sweet you act. Thanks for being my friend and playing nicely in the scraproom.
I used patina glimmer mist and a glimmer mist mask ..I love this stuff and especially this colour. The letter T's are chipboard. One is blue velvet stamped with a hero arts tree stamp and chalk ink. The other is distressed and inked with chalk ink and I adhered the dollarama clear pebbles to it. Both chipboard T's are Pressed petals chip chatter.
I went with Tammy to the scrappy store and told her how I bought 6 boxes of this chipboard (all different colours and sizes) because it was a good deal and now I didn't know what I was going to with it...so I used it here and I am pleased with the result...especially the velvet stamped T.
The other chipboard with foil is from V. Thanks V it is lovely and it lent itself so well to this layout.
The ampersand in the middle is chipboard also and I used glue and mixed beads and glitter to make the embellishment ...love it... the flower is Heidi Swapp if memory serves me correctly and I bought this when I was out with my friend Tracee in Red Deer. The small blue and green flowers and the green leaves were a gift from Tammy thanks again lady the colours of these helped inspire this layout.
I used a Martha punch for the edges of the picture and matts. I also used an EK Success corner punch for the lovely corners on the picture...thanks for coming by ....

I didn't ask for this...

Here is a layout with my son, friend, and Vithecat....I love my cricut and my new graphically speaking cartridge...right V!..it's a good one.The number stamp is unity and is embossed with tim holtz distressing powder, the sparkles are stickles. I cut the two green strips and flames with Cricut. Stickers are Sandylion. I distressed the edges of the cardstock by the way the cardstock is CTMH for the blue, red is DCWV, the green is me and my big idea. I used the Martha Stewart diamond edger punch. ....thanks for stopping by...

Friends in black, white, and red...

This is what I did instead of finishing up my scraproom overhaul...honestly its hard to clean and stay focused with all these goodies around me.
This layout is of my great friend Suzanne and I at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival last year. Whew okay I used a lot of embellishments the stamps are all inkadinkadoo and are stamped on transparency. The journal block is maya road. The flowers are well you name it...prima, mm, dollarstore, and any other company that makes flowers. The skull flower on the bottom right is a embellishment that Suzanne made me. Lace and ribbon are from Micheals and some of it is from friends being generous and sharing their stash. The red pearls are care of a scrappy friend Rhonda. The clear drops are from another scrappy friend Paola. The rest of the bling is from Micheals. The big foam bird is from Mike's also. The leopard print beads are from Walmart and they too remind of Suzanne as she is an amazingly talented jewelry maker. I happen to be the proud owner of few or her pieces and I receive wonderful compliments on her jewelry everytime I wear it. Hope you like this Suzanne. Thanks for stopping by everyone and I am glad you made it for a visit.
