Twilight for my niece...

I recently was lucky enough to purchase some digital stamps from The Greeting Farm. They are so much fun to play with as they are in the likeness of the characters from Twilight now how cool is that....since its my nieces Birthday what a better than a framed version of the adorable here is what I came up with...hope you like it....
I used patterned paper which I adhered to the base of the frame then proceeded to add the images and the name plates. I put a moon in the middle and of course some hearts for embellishments...stickles in gold a few strips of punched edges and some ribbon and liquid pearls.....thanks for looking and do grab a Birthday cupcake and some 7 up on your way out...bye

Pattern me not Winter Anya...

This is a Christmas card for another girlfriend of mine. I love how this turned out. Transparencies are so beautiful when embossed with the cuttlebug and this card was no exception. I stamped some trees which I adhered to the inside and a green strip at the top for writing my sentiment to my friend. I then added some silver snowflakes to the front and of course Winter Miss Anya....glad you came by and of course the treat of choice today is Mint Hot Chocolate help yourself...The rules for this challenge can be found here..

Pattern me not...

Well here is a card a Christmas for a girlfriend of mine. We have been friends for many years and she always remains so fashionable and for her I have created a fashionable card. I also used the challenge idea here to make this card. I found very liberating to not use patterned paper and instead chose to use punches and sparkles galore. I used glitter glue which I spread all over the background this is something I have grown fond of over the past little while then I used a border punch for the swirls and felt stars, foil stars and bling. Oh yes and Martha Stewart punch for the branches...Thank you for looking and candy cane bark is in the dish help yourself...bye

Maggie Bunny Baby card...second wild life entry

My second cousin had a baby girl and I made this sweet card to celebrate this occasion. I love this stamp its from The Greeting farm of course and I am posting this as a second entry for the Wild life Challenge the rules can be seen here . I coloured this image with copics then covered it in sepia accents from Ranger ink. Love the result... I then added liquid pearls to the edge and framed her beautifully with some lace....thanks for looking and do have a little tea cake on your out...and some strawberry punch...If you need her for your collection just shop here..

Wild life...Challenge at The Greeting Farm Blog.

Here is my first attempt at trying a challenge to become a guest designer. The rules are here... I am so excited. As you all know I just love these stamps from The Greeting Farm.
I first fell in love with the Anya and Ian stamps but much to my delight they found artist Marina Neira. This is her work here... so of course once these were being sold I could not wait to get some. They are the cutest little creatures ever.
When I was little I always thought animals had little homes, families, and of course could talk and these stamps remind of that piece of my childhood. Maybe a part of me still believes that because when I work with them I can feel their little personalities coming through. Like Laurie skunk here...she is so sweet you know she's up to something a surprise Birthday party
So to make this card. I coloured Laurie skunk with copics using greys and a bit of black for shading. I then used a dauber to ink the background and then added red micro beads to the edges. For the patchwork in the background I used patterned paper which I adhered in a random fashion. I used an edge punch for the card and some of the patterned paper and inked the edges with red. After putting all the patchwork on I then adhered my title which I think suits her and pop dotted Laurie skunk. The embellishments on the corner were then added to just give it that extra something.
I hope you all like it and thanks for looking oh do have a bowl of wild mushroom soup and chamomile tea on your way out...bye...
