Grasshoppers...oh my..

So a friend of mine planted a lovely garden and the grasshoppers thought so too...they ate most of it and that is just not nice...I made her a card in regards to this and sent some seeds along for next year let hope they stay away from her garden and let her enjoy all her hard work...

I used Martha Stewart punches for the leaves them ripped them to look like they had been eaten by the grasshoppers...I inked the edges also. I cut out the grasshoppers and pop dotted them. Thanks for looking...

Card for a 60ish yr old uncle...

That was the request given to me by a coworker...I like a challenge so here it what I came up with...oh I love those Tim Holtz Stamps V gave me..they are amazing....and I love the stampin up Corduroy buttons oooh what fun...thanks for checking this out ..I would love to hear what you have to say..thanks again.

Autumn is in the air...

I made these sweet autumn embellishments for a swap. I found this great quote which invoked thoughts of fall for me, the smells, the colours, the crisp air and of course your favourite knit sweaters. So I thought hmm I have this great felt made of recycled materials and these great autumns leaves with sparkles and well there you have it. I used some paper from Costco and the leaves punch is of course simply Martha Stewart...thanks for stopping by ...grab a spiced apple cider on your out...and maple sugar cookie...

H B card for a special order...

So here is the last of the 3 cards my coworker has asked me to make. This a Birthday card for her special friend. The 3 stamps are some I recently picked up in $1.50 bin at Mike's...I stamped two of them on patterned paper, the other and the sentiment on cardstock scraps. I used the branches cuttlebug folder for the background and some black ribbon. Some distressing and inking and viola the card is done...thanks for stopping by...I'm off to find a perfect saying for the inside....bye..

I also had another request for a card for a dear friend. This is what I came up with for a little something special for my coworkers dear friend.

I used Martha Stewart punches for the edges, prima flowers, some misc flowers. The pearls are dollarama and gems are both micheal's and dollarama. Misc ribbon and the cream lace is from Vanessa ..thanks V.

Birthday card for a Mother...

I have been asked to make a card for a friends' Mother. Her mother lives back in my friends home country of Sri Lanka. I was nervous making this card I really want it to be special for her and her mother. I believe she said her Mom was in her 80's. I hope she likes it...

I embossed the cover with a cuttlebug embossing folder, sanded it and then put stickles all over the leaves. I distressed all the edges and I heat embossed the words. The butterflies are done with the Martha Stewart punches and the leaves are dollarama. The brown flower I just can't remember I think maybe Tammy gave them to me. The brown pearls I love and those are from Dollarama. Thanks for stopping by.

A card for a dear friend...

I made this card for a dear friend who lost someone special...I loved this stamp and thought it would lend itself beautifully with the saying I chose for the front of the card..I used twinkling H2O's after embossing the image....The flowers are from dollarama....thanks for coming by.
