Wild life...Challenge at The Greeting Farm Blog.
Here is my first attempt at trying a challenge to become a guest designer. The rules are here...http://splendidstamping.blogspot.com/2009/11/and-crowd-goes-wild.html. I am so excited. As you all know I just love these stamps from The Greeting Farm.
I first fell in love with the Anya and Ian stamps but much to my delight they found artist Marina Neira. This is her work here...http://thegreetingfarm.com/shop/index.php/by-artist/marina-neira.html so of course once these were being sold I could not wait to get some. They are the cutest little creatures ever.
When I was little I always thought animals had little homes, families, and of course could talk and these stamps remind of that piece of my childhood. Maybe a part of me still believes that because when I work with them I can feel their little personalities coming through. Like Laurie skunk here...she is so sweet you know she's up to something a surprise Birthday party maybe...lol.
So to make this card. I coloured Laurie skunk with copics using greys and a bit of black for shading. I then used a dauber to ink the background and then added red micro beads to the edges. For the patchwork in the background I used patterned paper which I adhered in a random fashion. I used an edge punch for the card and some of the patterned paper and inked the edges with red. After putting all the patchwork on I then adhered my title which I think suits her and pop dotted Laurie skunk. The embellishments on the corner were then added to just give it that extra something.
I hope you all like it and thanks for looking oh do have a bowl of wild mushroom soup and chamomile tea on your way out...bye...

Let it snow...
yep that's right I said it...Let it snow...
I made a card for my most favourite stamp company The Greeting Farm.
They have a challenge for a winter theme and well here it is...just click on the Club Anya badge for details...any how. I altered Superstar Anya and gave her a snow suit and ultra fashionable scarf. I then made some skis and ski poles for her ...some embossed snowflakes in the background and some twinkly fake snow for glamour...oh and a few mirror snowflakes too...thank you for looking. Hope you like it.

Joy to the world....
More Christmas cards this one is called Joy to the world. I thought the saying fitting for these cute The Greeting Farm Stamps. These little guys come from a set called Forest Friends.
I used copics, stickles and flocking on them. I then pop dotted the owl on the branch I cut out and added some cuteness to the deer. Thank you for looking.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas....
I do believe that is what these little guys are saying...cute or what. Again more stamps from The Greeting Farm. These little cuties are from a set called Cup of stuff...again cute or what. I gave them some Christmas scarves and some Holly to let them help bring in the season and a cup of cheer too. I coloured them in copics, the lighter patches are highlights and flocking. The some glitter on the edges to give it that special something. Thanks for stopping in and taking a squeak, I mean peek....
All I want for Christmas...
Well we all know its more stamps that is a no brainer for sure...lol at least for me.
I made this card using a new line of stamps from The Greeting Farm. I love these images they are so adorable and they remind me of the storybooks I used to read as a kid..this is Marlene Monkey she is too cute and way to cheeky. I decided to give her a Christmas hat and let her help bring in the season...hope you like it...by the way she is coloured with copics , then I inked the background and ran the whole image through the cuttlebug to emboss it. Hope you like it and thank you for stopping by....yes of course lots of bling and glitter too...
